New building of stadium stands for 2500 viewers is the first stage of a multifunctional sports complex
constructed for Kauguri district in Jurmala. Main architectural idea of the complex was to locate
all the structures and functions into a single linear volume,
to reach constructive lightness and transparency and integrate it into the attractive environment of Jurmala.
Visitors terrace on the backside of the spectator stands above the semi-closed parking
will become a major functional axis of the second stage of sports complex.
Visually the most attractive part of the building is the roof with an impressive 13 meters-wide shed.
The shape of the steel structural frames and bright tone of wooden boards makes it light and elegant.
