The site designated for the football training base is located in one of Riga’s industrial districts,
which during the Soviet period served as a hub for sports activities for workers from the surrounding factories.
The project envisions transforming this historically layered environment into the new home
of the football club and football school “Metta.”

The new training base is conceived as a multi-layered yet functionally cohesive sports infrastructure,
comprising an artificial turf football pitch, an inflatable training hall with an additional pitch,
and a locker room building that integrates club administration and coaching facilities.
