The new Mārupe Market complex combines retail and agricultural production functions,
creating a platform for the region’s well-known “green” food producers to cultivate, showcase,
and sell their products.
The market hall is located in the central part of the building, while the greenhouses are integrated
along the building perimeter.
This approach allows visitors to observe the food production process on their way to the market hall – from cultivation
to the finished product. It serves not only as an effective marketing tool for local producers but also provides
the opportunity to offer exceptionally fresh and high-quality locally grown food products directly at the market.
