The architectural concept of the building is based on the idea of creating a spatial experience in which family members
can peacefully and undisturbedly enjoy the presence of the surrounding environment.
The private residence consists of three interconnected yet shifted volumes, or wings, which organically structure the building
and create three distinct courtyards. Each courtyard terrace, separated by an openwork wooden structure,
becomes an intermediate space — a harmonious transition zone between the interior and exterior,
where the landscape and nature become an integral continuation of everyday life.

The openwork wooden structure flows around the entire perimeter of the building, becoming the main architectural feature
and the defining element of the residence’s visual identity. At the same time, this structure provides a sense of privacy,
creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, and establishes a visual connection with the surrounding landscape.
Through its overall composition, the building interprets the character of the traditional Latvian homestead,
translating it into a restrained, elegant, and contemporary architectural language.
